Created EPUB generation for EPUB document format 3.0, which includes page mode that can generate paged documents (pre-paginated) or explicit page break documents (reflowable). In addition, supports font obfuscation for opentype and truetype fonts, and automatic Kindle Fire document generation.

Created DOCX generation for ECMA-376 WordProcessingML format, which includes support for all compatible elements, attributes, and styles properties as part of normal flow.

Enhanced HTML generation, which includes the paged document generation, explicit page breaks, or traditional HTML. In addition to paged documents, supports either multiple file generation with an index, or single file generation where each page is complete and clearly marked.

Updated Header and Footer element names and retired Blockheader/Blockfooter element names.

Updates

Enhanced absolute/fixed positioning, which can now format absolute positioned elements that are embedded within other absolutely positioned elements, handles absolute elements or their containers that have dynamic heights based on content, incorporates z-index layering, and more.

Created the z-index style property for positive values and as part of the absolute positioning upgrade of this release.

Created the background-container style, which allows elements containing background-image(s) to be automatically resized to be the height and/or width of the image and with respect to any image scaling. Compatible with all document generation types to include Paged HTML (i.e., the background-container style is replaced by the calculated width and height of the image).

Enhanced all samples to better demonstrate the new capabilities added in this and prior releases. In addition, upgraded the WPF, WinForms, and C++ sample applications to reflect these changes.

Upgraded the "container" element to better represent html and svg content, both within and outside of CDATA sections.

Deleted the deprecated RTF generation capability, which is also reflected in all APIs.

Corrected Paged HTML generated iframe container scrollbar appearing in older browsers.

Created new "HTML Paged" output type that utilizes the FinerEdge Publisher rendering engine to pre-format HTML pages complete with headers, footers, left, right page areas, block-level headers and footers, any type of explicit or implied page and table column breaks, and all the while visually ending current pages and starting new pages with all applicable HTML element structures dynamically generated.

Enhanced FinerEdge to support page and margin rules according to CSS Paged Media Module Level 3 and CSS Generated Content for Paged Media Module.

Updated the position style property to support div and table running elements (i.e., elements apart from normal flow) that are primarily used by margin rules to specify page area content.

Added the size style property that designates known page sizes, custom page sizes, and the page orientation (portrait or landscape) .

Added the pagesegment and page offset style properties that provide the same functionality as the pagebox tag's pagesegment and pageoffset attributes.

In accordance with page and margin rules, removed the pagearea and pagebox tags and the facility for applying style properties through the document and pagebr tags.

Changed "scale" property to CSS "background-size" style property. Changed "prescale" property to "background-presize" property.

Added "fixed" option to the "position" style property. Updated "absolute" elements to be formatted using the first non-static parent element (e.g., "position:relative").

Updated FPFileWatcher to support enhanced functionality.

Combined "path" and "temp" functions into extensible "env" (environment) function.

Updated the mode function to return a fixed string to indicate the current processing mode.
